How to triple your Facebook fans

ell when we set up the new Xposure Facebook page, we were hoping to have all our old fans over when the switch occurred and lots of new ones, but to our disappointment, this was not the case. This is when I began to employ tips from various blogs and posts from different sources and actually managed to triple the amount of fans over night. Albeit only from 10 to 30, but this said, the number is still growing now, illustrating the effectiveness of the techniques.
Consistency is of prime importance within all your communications (not just your Facebook page) and it is probably the best way to get the most exposure for your brand. Make sure that you post on a regular basis, respond to posts and share a lot of relevant content whilst maintaining a consistent tone of voice and lexical choice.
Identify your audience and engage with them, you can do this by posting about things that will interest them, thus causing them to be passionately invested in the communication. Then Post information about various contests and even having your own contest, or offering special discounts can be beneficial to your page. Each time the fans you have comment on the posts you have produced, they are sharing what you have done with all their connections.
I insisted that everyone in the office included a link to the Facebook page within their email signature, meaning that every email that they send out will be shouting about our Facebook page. Clients and customers will know where to find your business, and this will lead to automatic self-promotion without really adding any extra effort.
I have my own Facebook page, so I posted a link to the fan page on my profile so that all my connections would be informed of the new page. Although my Facebook friends are not the desired clients for the page, they are a great base to show interest and get you to 25 fans so that you can have a Vanity URL.
Make sure that all your updates are informative and interesting, content is so important and often this can sell your page on its own. If your topics are interesting enough, your audience will respond and this will lead to exposure of your Fan Page which will almost sell itself.
There is always the option to cold call clients and although this can be potentially time consuming and there will be a lot of contacts that amount to nothing. You would be on to a winner if you managed to get 20 people for each 100 that you contact.
You Fan box should be placed everywhere. You should have it on your blog, Twitter, LinkedIn and all the pages of your website. This is a really good way to share the enthusiasm you have for your business with all your contacts, and an outlet for them to share their interesting thoughts about your site or business with others.
If you have the time, a great way to attract new audiences is through creating a branded Facebook welcome page with a very definite call to action. If you don’t ask, you don’t get! Ask your viewers to like your page with an expertly branded welcome tab, so your viewers will know what to do.
Your audience is always interested with the humans behind your brand. It’s always nice to put a face to an organisation you are dealing to make it easier to communicate. This is something that Xposure have not yet completed so far, but with the photos already taken it is only a matter of time!
These are the effective methods that we have used to create our successful Facebook page, apply them to yours and if you need any help let us know on our page
